It's long overdue but these are the last close up shots of August quilling piece (finally!) Most times we photograph the best angles and leave out the imperfections.. but for this post, I want to showcase those little imperfections instead. Here you can see the rough surface of those quilled papers, the unparalleled lengths of those cuts, the glue streaks & stains, even pencil strokes on some parts.. They are flaws that I desperately tried to hide and hated back then, but love in this day. It shows that I'm not always perfect, and not being perfect can be great & beautiful in many ways. I want to embrace that.
Having said that, I was really taken aback by the response on the previous post. THANK YOU guys for all the likes and kind words, they meant a whole lot to me! I'm definitely looking forward to show everyone more of my work this month! Stay put for more soon ✂️

As a basketball player having good agility will help YOU on both offense and defense. Strong agility, where YOU can quickly shift your body back and forth and in other directions takes years of daily PRACTICE. YOU cannot go to the gym, use the speed ladder for a few days and expect to be a quicker player. Agility training has to be incorporated in your daily training. And YOU have to do the agility drills for years. It's that important for your SUCCESS on the basketball court. The basketball player in this video is Mihir Patel, a 13 year old, 8th grade, point guard from Atlanta, Georgia. Just like YOU, he works on his basketball SKILLS every day. But to make sure that he can be an effective player on both ends of the court Mihir always works hard to IMPROVE his foot speed. When YOU have quick feet YOU can beat the player with the ball to a spot or force them into a trap or turnover. When YOU have slow feet YOU end up getting your ankles busted by a crafty ball handler and we all get a good laugh watching YOU crash to the ground on YouTube.
