1. Cook once per week
Pick a day a week and do the bulk of your shopping and cooking on the day. It might sound like a big time commitment, but doing everything at once means you only have to preheat the oven once, chop your meats and veggies once and clean your kitchen once.
2. Keep it Simple

You may remember that a few weeks ago my sister asked me to make her a pretty cake for her engagement party. In case you mixed the photo I shared in my instastories, I thought I'd pop a shot of it here. Hopefully it'll brighten up your Monday!
P.s. given the short timeframe and the lack of equipment to use...I totally cheated! I used 4 packet mixes (carrot, banana, orange & lemon). I made a cream cheese and lemon icing & stacked the cakes on top of each other with icing between each layer & then decorated it with flowers. .
