⚠️Making it a point not to neglect ab training even though its #growingseason because at the end of the day, they’re still like any other muscle and our abs are still there 🔥 We just might not see them the way we want to when we’re bulking, but once its time to lean out a bit, oh they’ll be there alright! Just gotta put in the WORK and TRUST the process 🙏🏻❤️
In the mean time, here are some go to ab exercises I’ve been loving lately! Lots of reverse crunches that really work the lower abs, as that’s one of my more stubborn areas 😁
1️⃣ “Negative” Reverse Crunches - focus on the eccentric part of the movement or the “lowering down” phase of the rep! these can be done on a flat mat/surface as well.
2️⃣ Ball Jackknife to Push Up - two jackknives followed by a push up! these are pretty killer and work your entire core and balance at the same time! 💪🏼 tryyy them!
3️⃣ Incline Crunches - the OGs, 3 sets in and I’m usually ouch ouch ouch 😂
4️⃣ Weighted Incline Crunches - if the OGs are too easy for you!
5️⃣ Reverse Crunches - easily done on a flat surface as well! making sure you lie on your back flat and really using your core to pull your legs!

What does it actually mean to live your best life? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
To travel? To get the degree you’ve always wanted? To complete a program? Finish a recipe?, Shopping? Working out? Reading? Relaxing? Honestly, the list could go on but I believe there are multiple answers. I’ve been M I A, I want to apologize but I’m afraid my life from here on out will be spotty on instagram. With prioritizing and setting myself for achievement.. Instagram falls low on the list(for me). The past few weeks have been incredibly weird and new, but I believe it’s been me living my best life. Why? Because I can’t imagine myself doing anything else at this moment. .
So ultimately the answer to the question is dependent on you. Not what you read/watch on online or maybe even hear about but what you feel in your heart of heart. Soooo, what does living your best life mean for you?

Food diary overdue: not every day is the same. I rotate my food choices daily. This is just one of my values into food choices along with the season, organic, sustainability, nutrients + calorie content and cost factor.
Mother Nature created an array of sources of fuel from plants, animals to meat (seafood is where humans actually evolved!) + sunlight (photobiomodulation)
I think it would be rude to not eat the spoils of what we have on offer with utilising the seasonal availability of these produce in their natural form!
👉🏼Breakfast - 9 am
My famous “Polyphenomonal” Smoothie bowl: Frozen unsweetened Açai (@sambazonuk) +blueberries, Flaxseed, MCT Oil, Black figs, rolled oats, almond butter, cacao nibs and diluted coconut milk (I don’t use light which contains stabilisers + water added. instead I dilute full fat with water thus saving money + more coconut milk than the light version!)
👉🏼 Brunch - 12 pm - post workout like to have some carbs afterwards!
Meal prep - Wild Salmon pasta salad (breakdown on the previous post)
👉🏼 Late Lunch - 3 pm

The food diary does not include a medicinal mushroom coffee with MCT oil in the morning or a coconut yogurt after dinner due to its getting dark in the U.K lol
