Have summer made a comeback? 👀☀️ Wanted to make a short vid next to this new statue (if we can call this a statue🤔) with this beautiful weather which we, sadly, rarelyyyyyy had this summer. Hope y'all are enjoying your Thursday😋

EPISODE 86 | Shoulder Girdle & T-Spine Mobility
I view the hip & the shoulder to be very similar joints.
They're obviously both ball & socket joints, but they're also the connection between the upper/lower extremity & the trunk.
They possess large potential for movement & rotational proficiency plays a huge role in joint function.
The Pigeon Pose from EP.84 takes advantage of joint rotation. It winds your hip up into MAX external rotation & applies a stretch.
Todays series applies the same concept to the shoulder, but applies one special consideration.
The shoulder possesses great mobility, which means we need to train it to be as stable as possible throughout its available movement.
🔹The Sit Through begins this process. I use it to train stability into shoulder extension & maintain a strong weight bearing position.
🔸The Thoracic Bridge brings us further into extension & ⬆️ muscular demand. Applying a strong Glutebridge allows us to wind up the spine, providing general rotational mobility of the spine.
🔹Movement variability is incredibly important. Our flow at the end allows us to explore different patterns, training body awareness & reactive stability.

A quick little #dinner I threw together one night that included prime NY strip from @the_butchery and a #asparagus#risotto that tied it all together. #NYstrip is one of my favorite cuts of meat and if properly cooked I think it has the best #flavor and #texture of any cut. You are what you eat so I always recommend Prime Cuts!!!
