I miss being on the road like crazy!! I have been back at home working hard to save up while also growing my page, and am motivated as hell to keep creating and get back out there. Staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning every night after my job for the past two or three weeks, I have been relentless and the work is only going up! In addition to doubling down on IG, I have also started designing my new website in which I will be launching a blog, overhauled and relaunched my Facebook page, and also am making way to launch a travel vlog series on YouTube and Instagram stories. So much is happening and I am working super hard to keep creating from such a pure place and to continue sharing with all of you! Keep on the grind everybody!!✌🏼🚌
On a day like this the legendary blues guitarist Mr. FREDDIE KING was born. His soulful and powerful voice and distinctive guitar style and fast-fingered guitar technique inspired countless musicians such as Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Lonnie Mack. Freddie King was an American guitarist, and singer born in 3 September 1934 d. 28 December 1976. He has been described as one of the "Three Kings" of electric blues guitar along with BB King and Albert King. He was inducted into Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. King based his guitar style on Texas and Chicago influences. His best-known recordings include the singles "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" and "Hide Away". King had an intuitive style, often creating guitar parts with vocal nuances. He achieved this by using the open-string sound associated with Texas blues and the raw, screaming tones of West Side, Chicago blues. King's combination the Texas and Chicago sounds gave his music a more contemporary feel than that of many Chicago bands who were still performing 1950s-style music, and he befriended the younger generation of blues musicians. In his early career he played a gold-top Gibson Les Paul. He later played Gibson ES-355 guitars, using a plastic thumb pick and a metal index-finger pick to achieve an aggressive finger attack. He was one of the first bluesmen to have a multiracial backing band at live performances. In this video clip King performing his "HIDE AWAY"amazing song.
"Hide Away" is a blues guitar instrumental that has become "a standard for countless blues and rock musicians performing today. First recorded in 1960 by Freddie King, and appears on his album The Texas Cannonball. The song became an R&B and pop chart hit. it was written by Freddie King, and Sonny Thompson.
