This was our first time in a slot canyon! Seriously magical! This slot canyon is just outside of Goblin Valley State Park and is surrounded by BLM land, so instead of paying to get inside Goblin Valley to camp you can stay just outside and get the same cool views and get an early start to hiking this popular trail! Make sure to pay attention to the weather as slot canyons are prone to flash flooding. We were able to go into the canyon pretty far before getting to this 👆🏻area where we had to turn back due to chest deep water! BUT if you don't have kids to carry through go further and explore!

One of my favorite things about working out is having the ability to change my physique - not just losing fat but gaining muscle. For ladies afraid of getting bulky: STOP!! Do I look bulky? If anything I look more shapely and fit.
Some tips for your fitness journey:
✖️Cardio vs Dying While You Run
Depending on your body composition you may not need to do lots of cardio. 😳 IKR? There are multiple ways to burn calories. My favorite, weightlifting. I'll be doing "cardio weight" deadlifts and squats today for a high caloric burn, and I won't spend more than 30 min on my workout for it to be effective. (I'll load my workout to IGstories.)
Eating "clean" is the best way to see results, but I've also added some things to my daily regimen to help me achieve goals and be successful. I get shipments of @dailyharvest a couple times a month. This helps me snack healthily without compromising time or nutrition. I drink @drinkorgain plant-based shakes post-workout to help build lean muscle and promote an effective sweat session. Find what works for you. I'm not trying to push supplements on anyone because they aren't for everyone, but if you do go that route, make sure to check out the integrity of the brand/the ingredients they use. These companies are a couple of my favorite.
The way you should train is unlike the way anyone else trains. While some things work for the general public, they can actually increase chances of injury or further cause dysfunction in your joints/muscles. One person's diet may not work for you. The workouts we do, the food we eat, and the environment around us all affect our bodies differently. Do according to what works for you, get guidance, and don't be afraid to change what you're doing if you're not seeing results. You have to be willing to accept that it will be a long process to reach your goals, keep an open mind. And finally, love where you are right now in your journey, because you are worthy at this very moment. Until you realize that, you will always be at the first step of your journey. #motivation#goalgetter
