Today I turn two! Thank you for all the love and support you continue to show me (even if I don't post as much as I should) I couldn't say it enough. Two isn't so terrible after all. ✌️
Shout out to my friends @doge_crew for this sweet birthday Hype light! Now I'm always lit.
Thank you for all your sweet messages, notes and comments yesterday - I’m still going through them! Today is my 34th birthday (last day for Scorpio 🦂) and I’ll be spending my day preparing food for tomorrow and working on some Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. The blog will be where everything is but if you like shopping in the @liketoknow.it app, I’ll post there, too! This whole outfit is from @shopbop and part of the sale (told you these button-fly jeans would go on sale) along with some other picks here 👉🏻 http://liketk.it/2ynkG #liketkit#LTKsalealert#LTKunder100
It’s my birthdayyyy! As I welcome my first quarter-century 2️⃣5️⃣, I want to celebrate all the other « firsts » I’ve accomplished this past year!
1st Generation college graduate
1st generation home buyer
1 year of blogging
Part of the 1st 10 to make the #FohrFreshmanClass
1st time attending a therapy session
This past year has mostly been about pushing my boundaries and getting out of my comfort zone! Doing so has proven to be the best decision. I’ve been setting clear goals, working hard to reach them, taken risks, while always making sure I take care of my well-being.
The main highlight of my year was finding out I was expecting! I am grateful to Allah for blessing my little family, and I pray my little boy/girl (stay tuned for a gender revea😉l) gets here safe and sound.
May year 25 be filled with new adventures, experiences and LOTS of positive vibes! #QuarterCentury#BirthdayBehavior#BlessingsonBlessings#Alhamdulillah
Can you stay on track over the holidays while still enjoying yourself 🤔
There’s no reason why you can’t enjoy yourself over the holidays while still making progress! 💪🏼
You likely have an idea of what days you’re having thanksgiving dinner, when you have Christmas parties for work and with friends, when you have various Christmas dinners, etc.
So what you’re going to do is write down the dates of every event you’re going to over the holiday season.✏️
Then you’re going to plan out which occasions you will allow yourself to indulge a little more, and which ones you will keep more under control. 🍫🥗
If you try and keep every single event under control eating wise, that’s just gonna suck! 🥦😓
But at the same time, it’s great to keep SOME structure so you can hit the ground running when the new year starts! 💫✨
With just a bit of pre planning, you ensure you don’t accidentally run out of time or healthy food, and you can make sure you enjoy yourself but don’t completely go overboard!
Plan out your healthy meals that you’re going to eat between events, have some quick workouts ready that you can do at home if you’re low on time, and carefully plan out your schedule so you don’t miss workouts.
I’ve laid a lot of this out for you in my Holiday Survival Guide which is a BONUS E-BOOK I’m releasing on Black Friday if you purchase my Knockout Body Program during the sale!! 🎁🎈
