This boy wins my heart. In the midst of the hardest times in my life this guy has been the sunshine. Every year on Thanksgiving and the weeks leading up to it I am constantly reminded of the most devastating moments of my life. Thanksgiving was the last holiday I shared with my parents. The day we realized my mom wasn’t going to make it. I didn’t get to spend my son’s second Thanksgiving with him but I did get to spend my parents last holiday with them. This year has been the hardest by far. I’ve cried every night for a week. It’s sucked. I can not wait to see my sister tomorrow and probably cry like big babies together and make new memories with our kids. I used to love this holiday. It was my absolute favorite and now it’s the hardest. It’s bittersweet every year. So for everyone who is trying to get through the holidays missing loved ones I feel you ❤️
HOW to stay on track/stay motivated for the long term🤔
Whenever I stop obsessing over my diet being PERFECT is when I have the easiest time staying on track!
I think something holding people back from eating well is that they’re super busy and they don’t have the time to cook healthier meals. Or they do it for a bit but get tired of doing it constantly.
I totally get that! I’ve definitely had times in the past when I felt like I just could NOT find the time.
I thought that if I wanted to lose weight, I could ONLY eat meals that I made at home that I brought out with me in a Tupperware.
It was super boring. But I thought it was either that or no results at all.
Don’t have the mindset where it’s either perfect meal prepped meals every single day or completely off track.
If you’re buying a lunch/dinner from somewhere, look for the nutritional info on my fitness pal (find something similar if there’s nothing exact), track it in, and then you’re good to go- you work the rest of your day around it if it’s a bit higher calories. Doesn’t have to be a Tupperware lunch!
When I realized I could do things like that, it made staying on track sooo much easier because I didn’t feel restricted, so I had less cravings.
This is how I made fitness actually start to feel like a lifestyle! 😊 By being MORE flexible. If I wasn’t flexible I’d be intense for a bit, then just fall off track for weeks😓
Try this out! Don’t think you have to majorly limit yourself because then in the end, you can’t stick to it‼️‼️‼️ Go into this for the long term and see how much better it goes for you 🙌🏼
YES you still have to be in a caloric deficit, but if you keep track of that, eat your veggies, eat enough protein, you’re good. No need to be super picky which makes it so much easier to stick to this LONG TERM 🙌🏼💪🏼🤗
