How to bounce back from a refeed and/or cheat day..
This gone weekend was a fairly relaxed diet time for me with one meal being a huge refeed. So here are my ideas to counteract if you end up going a bit too hard on that cheat meal/day: - Schedule in a workout on your weakest points the day of and after (for me always hit legs to bring them up).
- Have a low carb day even possibly two straight after (or before & after) creating quite an effective differentiatial known as carb cycling which can be an effective way to lose body fat.
- Increase the cardio around those few days to try to cover some of that added input of calories.
- Enjoy it, if you've planned it out with the above so it doesn't "ruin" your diet, then just enjoy the hell out of the great foods without feeling guilty as stressing over it will only make matters worse not better + you've earnt it every so often.
