~Jonah’s POV ~
I woke up and started to get ready for school
Do I have to
I really don’t want to keep pretending anymore
I was almost about to head out my door
But then my phone rang
I looked and it was
I hesitantly answer the phone
There was so much noise on the other line
So much yelling
M:”Jo-Jonah it’s time”
Jo:”M-Mom! Holy shit! Are you okay?”
M:”Just-Jonah please keep your hold of your promise “
Jo:”I will mom I promise! I love you “
M:”I love yo-“
Then I heard a gunshot and the line disconnected
No no no no
I quickly run out of my house and go to my car
I ran back in and packed whatever I could and ran out again
Once I got in the car
I started crying
I drive to Kaitlyn’s house and thank god she wasn’t there
I used the key her parents had given me and I started to pack as much of her stuff as I could then ran to my car again
How am I gunna tell Kaitlyn?
I can’t possibly break her like that
I love her too much to do that
I quickly get to the school
I’m too late
I start to run around the school
Looking for Kaitlyn until I finally found her and I dragged her to the basement
K:”JONAH? WHAT THE FUCK!”
Jo:” Kaitlyn shut up! I’m trying to protect you!”
She looks confused for a second
K:”Protect me from what?”
Jo:”U-Uh it’s not important”
She looks at me
God she’s beautiful
I just wanna
She’s with Liam now
Jo:”We might be here for a while”
K:”I-I u-uh ok”
So I make her nervous?
Jo:”So you and Liam huh?”
She goes wide eyed
K:”U-uh t-technically w-we’re not t-together b-but h-he d-did ask me out”
I let out a light chuckle
Jo:”Your stutters cute when I make you nervous “
She goes wide eyed again and her cheeks start to flush red
So they’re not together
Good to know
K:”Wanna tell me what happened “
Jo:”I-I don’t think th-that’s a good idea”
K:”Look at WHOS nervous now”
I can feel myself starting to blush
K:”Tell me... please”
She gave me puppy dog eyes
Who can say no to that cute face
Jo:”I-I made a promise “
Jo:”To protect you at all costs”

Alcohol and Breastfeeding - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are not too intoxicated to drive, you are not too intoxicated to nurse. You do not have to Pump and Dump. The average recommendation is 2oz of hard alcohol, 8oz of wine or 16oz of beer. Waiting a couple of hours before nursing is best, but the occasional drink will not hurt your baby.
It is REAL my friends. The past few days I’ve been feeling it especially with a teething baby and a big conference last weekend. I noticed all a bunch of emotions I don’t normally experience so easily were right at the surface - tears, frustration, comparison, inadequacy and more. NOT fun 😉.
Here are my tips for dealing with sleep deprivation:
-Acknowledge it and realize it may be affecting your mood (it’s ok! You’re human!). Tell the people around you what’s going on so they can give you some grace too
-Get as much sleep as you can. Even though you’re tempted to stay up after putting kids to sleep, try to go to bed as early as possible.
-Ask for help! From your husband or a friend or family member. It won’t solve everything but it’s amazing what a nap can do.
-Try to distance yourself from thoughts and feelings. Knowing that it’s probably the fatigue talking, try not to put too much stock in those negative downward spirals.
-Know that this probably won’t last forever. Give yourself as much grace as you can.

Ankle Sprain Rehab
In the mid to late stages of ankle rehab, the priority is to get the ankle used to load and get it stronger. Assuming they have full range of motion and swelling is minimal, progressive loading is important. This helps to regain full strength and stability in the recovering ankle.
Here are a few exercises I used in rehab using a bosu ball. I don’t do a ton of unstable surface training but I occasionally do utilize it. I want to see her demonstrate control and not allow the foot to invert on the unstable service.
1️⃣ Rear foot elevated split squat
2️⃣ Lateral lunge
3️⃣ Forward lunge
