Leg Day workout 💪🏽 I’m using pyramid sets to build up my strength. With each exercise do 4 sets, the first set aim for 16-20 reps, then increase the weight slightly and aim for 12-16 reps for the second set, 10-12 for the 3rd and 8-10 for the fourth. So the weight increases as the rep range decreases. Scroll through the exercises 👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽 Wearing @versa_forma 😍 code SUPERABS15 gets you a discount, I’ll add a swipe link to their site on my insta story 👌🏽
☀️🏝 ABS ROUTINE 🏝☀️ TAG YOUR BABES 💕
People! I have said it before but friendly reminder again, the key to have visible defined abs is to have low body fat and of course a well trained abdominal muscles, if your body fat is high no exercise by itself will uncover your abs or improve your look. There are no magic foods to reveal your abs. We often see click baits promoting certain foods, certain supplements or certain diet styles. And honestly it’s all marketing, sure in some cases those posts might content some degree of truth but the real key is to have a well balanced diet, that you can sustain for a long period of time and to drop body fat slowly but constantly. Create a moderated caloric deficit and program your mind to enjoy the journey! Because trust me it takes time and patience to build a physique! You must learn how to LOVE the process. -
Here is the routine:
1️⃣ Inverted single leg crunch 4x15 each leg
2️⃣ Banded V crunches 3x20
3️⃣ Burn out AMRAP (as many reps as possible) 3x 1min
💥 Legs & Glutes 💥
👥 Tag a friend!
❤️ Save this routine for your next legs day!
You all know I love training my whole body, I don’t really have a favorite body part to train.
But there is something when it’s legs day, I definitely sweat 💦 more
and the burn is real!
So you gotta be ready for that day 😅
I usually do legs on Monday, but my energy was not there.
Instead I did a quick full body workout.
👉🏽 YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!
By trying to go beyond its capacity is where you can get hurt.
So my legs day was pushed to Tuesday.☺️
And I had all the energy to complete it.
Some of my routines:
1️⃣ Kneeling band Squat,4 sets of 15reps, then finished without the barbell and just doing some kneeling banded hip-thrust to failure. 🔥
2️⃣ DB Sumo Sumo Squat & DB Sumo Deadlift, 4 sets of 20 reps
🔸Note I am combining both exercises together. I did 10 of each.
3️⃣ DB Jefferson Lunges, 4 sets of 10 reps full range of motion then 6 pulses to finish each set on each leg.
4️⃣ DB Deadlift, 4 sets of 15 reps
5️⃣Eccentric laying leg curl, 4 sets of 15 to 20 reps.
(Video was speeded up a little)
6️⃣ Finished with 4 reps of Stability ball hip-thrust, 3 sets of 15 reps.
🔸 Note I am using 2 loop bands, 1 above and one under my knees.
👉🏽 Having the resistance band forces you into hip abduction, which will increase the glute activation.
Join us in saying #nothanks this November 22nd! I’m excited we have the opportunity to collaborate w/ @ndn.o. They are one of the most radical Indigenous Appalachian street artist in the region, if not the. Every day from now until the 22nd we will be sharing new never before seen art from @ndn.o around the concept of joining us in saying #nothanks this year. We don’t want to dialogue anymore about #decolonizingthanksgiving, we want praxis of modifying behavior, accountability and healing. This November 22nd don’t be a do as I say not as I do apathetic stereotype that says one thing on social media and another by your actions. The truth is, Thanksgiving is going to be in your life as long as you let it be. Waiting for a huge psychological cultural shift to happen so you can start to taper off your creature comfort‘s & tradition is part of the problem. #thanksgivingisoverifyouwantit We encourage you to take the money that you would spend on #Thanksgivingdinner & invest that directly into #Indigenousfoodways. @ndn.o has hand picked the organizations that will receive the $upport, You can send money to either of the Venmo’s in the last slide or PayPal firstname.lastname@example.org #decolonizationisnotametaphor#showmeyourpraxis#somedayisnow#ruralresistance#lenapehands#youronnativeland#weallare#artasresistance

In my deepest, darkest moments, what really got me through was a prayer. Sometimes my prayer was 'Help me.' Sometimes a prayer was 'Thank you.' What I've discovered is that, intimate connection and communication with my creator will always get me through because I know my support, my help, is just a prayer away. --- Iyanla vanzant
