✴️sweet potatoes fries: same seasoning & spray as the broccolini, baked @ 400° F for 30 min, flipping halfway through

Post show rebound was coincidentally at the same time I started doing my online business this year... and a recipe for disaster. I expected to re-gain weight obviously, but I overshot my last off-season fat maintenance by nearly 10 lbs this time. 😳 I was sleeping maybe 2-3 hrs a night, trying to make the perfect website (wrong...everything is a work in progress), missing meals and sometimes not eating at all (so, yeah, the reverse-diet was a no-diet), still training in-person clients, taking my dog on 1am walks because I couldn’t walk her enough during the day and she wouldn’t sleep otherwise (felt awful about that), moving to a new apartment, training myself maybe once every four days, working in the @liveleanrx_chicago clinic, making more video content, wasting time trying to edit video content lol, more, more and more. My body was holding so much water from dehydration/high sodium/no potassium - I felt like a balloon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You might be experiencing this too, or just high stress/lack of sleep in general, and I’m here to tell you that YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW. One day you’ll wake up, look at yourself in the mirror, and realize all your hard work and health has been slowly washed away. Perhaps it’s always been this way, so you don’t know how different it feels. If that’s the case... you really need to be selfish and put your foot down. To “hustle” and be a “boss” really means: you plan. Prioritize. Make time to train. Bring food. Be more efficient. Start thinking differently, and make small changes. They add up. You’re going to feel like a new person when you lower your stress (it’s SO important to learn to say “no” to non-priorities) and sleep more.
It doesn’t matter how slowly you go so long as you don’t stop.
🏃 Happy Friday fam! The journey to your goals is full of ups and downs. This year’s definitely had more than it’s fair share of downs but pressing forward bit by bit to get to where I want to be.
