Soul wants you to invest your energy wisely. .
Take a close look at how your energy is being spent. As an empathic soul you're very sensitive to the energies of those around you. How many people are you devoted to rescuing? Spending your energy on these types of projects will leave you feeling depleted. You can't rescue anyone from their chosen path. Mostly people learn through experience. You trying to rescue them is a delay from them having the natural experience that, will create the feelings to initiate change in their lives. .
You may also be using other people's issues to hide from your own. Convincing yourself that the most humanitarian thing you can do is to be selfless and serve others. You can't pour from an empty cup. The energy being spent on rescuing others is better invested is saving yourself. Defining where you end and another begins is part of being responsible for your energy. Don't respond everytime someone calls "wolf', you're not the wolf slayer. Investing your energy into self-care will assist you in discerning what and who is deserving of your time and energy. Trusting divine order is part of knowing everyone is walking their own path at their own pace .

“My son has been training to become a National Level Athlete since the past 3 years. We come from a family of farmers, so we were initially hesitant with his career choice, but he was so passionate that we had to back him. His entire life has revolved around representing India in Sports, globally.
A few months ago, Ansh’s coach called us frantically -- Ansh had collapsed and was unconscious. At 2:30 AM when he woke up, he told us that he couldn’t feel his limbs and was finding it difficult to breathe and speak. We rushed him to the hospital and his tests revealed that he had Guillain-Barré Syndrome -- his entire body from his legs to his face was paralysed.
We were shocked -- he was so fit and had no medical history. I immediately took out loans for his treatment and we started praying for his recovery. Slowly, he showed signs of progress -- we were so relieved! We celebrated with balloons and a cake when he could walk again!
When we took him home, all he spoke about was wanting to start training again. But, when we took him back for a check up a few days later, Ansh started having problems with his breathing again. The doctors rushed to the ward and attempted to bring him back, they tried their best, but because the oxygen didn’t reach his brain for 3 minutes--it lead to brain haemorrhage. He slipped into a coma.
It’s been 13 days since he’s been in coma and I’ve sold off everything I could to keep his treatment alive -- but I have nothing left. My children have been so hardworking -- they’ve all gotten scholarships and now I feel like I’m failing my son. Without the money, his treatment will stop and his dreams will be crushed. I’m desperate -- please, help us.”
Ansh’s family is struggling to keep his treatment going. If they take Ansh off the ventilator, he won’t survive and all they want is to see their son back on his feet! So on this Children’s Day, let’s get together and give Ansh a fighting chance. Please consider donating and tag someone who can donate through the link in our bio.
#WomenArtistsWednesday – ‘It’s amazing to think that Judith Leyster was only about 20 years old when she painted this.’⠀
Considered the greatest female painter of the Dutch Golden Age, this scene of three young revellers demonstrates Leyster’s precocious talent. Our specialists Clementine Sinclair and Henry Pettifer explain more.⠀
The painting is part of the celebrated Eric Albada Jelgersma Collection, offered in our London Classic Week auctions in December.⠀
Judith Leyster (1609–1660), ‘Merry Company’. Oil on canvas. 29⅜ x 24⅞ in (74.5 x 63.2 cm). Estimate: £1,500,000–2,000,000. ⠀
The Eric Albada Jelgersma Collection: Important Old Master Pictures Evening Sale – 6 December at Christie’s London.⠀
