Life kicked me in the rear today. But do you ever talk out loud bout your problems and then have this huge realization that your problems ain't shit? Same. I mean yes, feel the pain and annoyance of a nail in your tire then realize IT'S ALREADY THERE HONEY, fix it and move on. I know those days where one thing after another goes "wrong" but after every single circumstance, I reset my day and attitude. It's never too late in the day to have a good fucking day 🤙🏼 It's also never too soon for a glass of 🥂 so maybe those two things are related. Not sure.

I feel ya, I know what it’s like to feel strong and exhausted in the best way after a team lift or conditioning. But now you’re having a hard time recreating those workouts. You are lost on how to be “fit for life” rather then fit for your season.
HIIT circuits are a great way to increase your workout intensity and feel like that athlete you used to be. This past week I switched up my training completely and instead of training strictly for aesthetics - I’ve incorporated mile time running as a warm up and on alternate days: HIIT circuits post workout.

✨ SET TIMER FOR 10 minutes (AMRAP) .
- 1 minute rope slams.
- 30 second KB swings.
- 30 second high knees.
- 1 minute plank.

PB and Jam Thumbprint Cookies
1 cup almond flour
1/3 cup + 2 Tbsp spelt flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp ground flax
1/2 cup smooth natural PB
1/3 cup maple syrup
5-6 Tbsp strawberry jam (I use @croftersorganic)
Preheat the oven 350 F. In a bowl whisk together the dry ingredients. Then fold in the peanut butter and maple. Mix until a sticky dough forms. Roll 10-12 balls out (worth about 2 Tbsp of dough) and place on a lined baking sheet. Gently press the middle in using your thumb. Drop some jam in the holes to fill. Bake 10 minutes and allow to cool 💃🏻

The first picture I was probably at the lowest point of my life and after battling depression for months, it came to a point where I’d stop training completely.
I had lost every last bit of motivation I had.
I decided to seek help because I knew I had to, the thought of it was pretty hard but it’s the best thing I could have done...I decided to compete next year, and this time it’s not to win, but to show myself how mentally strong I am.
I couldn’t have overcame the mental adversity if it wasn’t for @amybrackenxx always being there for me and always edge me on to be better in every aspect possible. This time around I know with the right people surrounding me, I’ll give everything I have.
