And yes this moment was one of pure bliss. Blue skies, an incredible view and my hubby by my side. All I hope is that by creating beautiful images I can inspire you to live your best life and seek out the beauty in your surroundings, wherever you may be.
But please don’t forget we all have our good and bad days. There’s always light and shade, ups and downs, ebbs and flows. And lately I’ve been getting DMs from people telling me how perfect I am and how lucky I am - that they wish they could be me.
And those messages break my heart. The last thing I ever hope to do is make anyone feel bad about who they are. So I wanted to share two of my BIGGEST vulnerabilities just so you know that I am not perfect. Both of these things have had a huge impact on my life and on who I am today and it’s not easy for me to share them. But if it helps even one person realise they don’t need to be anyone else but themselves then it’s worth it.
1. Growing up I was constantly teased for being skinny, I was called anorexic to my face, grasshopper in sports class and always told I needed to eat more. To this day it affects my self-image. I have never felt like a real woman, because I don’t have the booty or the hips or the boobs. Oh and for the record I eat a lot- I’ve always just had an extremely fast metabolism.
2. During my teens and into my early twenties I suffered from severe depression. I’ve always felt ashamed of it and like my depression stole something from me, a piece of my personality that I’ll never get back. And while I am doing really well now, I still have moments when it starts to creep back in and it scares me SO much to think it could ever become part of my life again.
I’d never ask anyone to share their vulnerabilities, because it is something you really need to be ready to do and in the right way for you. So instead tell me one thing you LOVE about yourself?
I’ll start – I love how determined and hardworking I am. When I want something I go for it with everything I have and even in my lowest moments I don’t give up on striving for my goals.

I ditched being “busy” this summer and instead became highly FOCUSED on my goals, checked my notifications less, paid less attention to what OTHERS do and paid real attention to what I needed to do to grow in my personal and professional life!
I stopped checking my emails during my productive hours, kept my my phone on airplane mode at nights and wrote about the reality I wanted to create for my life every Sunday morning in my journal!
It’s been a good summer! I kept it real! Cried both out of joy and fear on my long walks, screamed and danced like a child every time I achieved one of my goals and learned a lot about what it means to unapologetically pursue my own path!
