This "dessert" started as orange candy coating to make #strawberry "carrots" for last term's #garden themed #cupcake wars.
I poured what was left onto parchment paper, dried it back out, and saved it in the cupboard.
This term red food coloring was added and it was piped onto parchment for #maple leave garnishes on #canada#pancake themed cupcakes.
Today it was melted with "peanut" butter (leftover from 7th grade monster #cookies) and tossed with marshmallows (leftover from fondant) and peanuts (leftover from #health 100-calorie pack activity) and rolled onto parchment.
Best #leftover#food lab ever.
We managed our French omelet lab despite the delay ❄️
This is one of my favorite labs with students because they are so proud of themselves!
Alex (our Spanish exchange student) told us this is how omelets are supposed to be. 👍
