Rappelling 23 meters down a cave! 😀🙌🏼 When I saw this photo for the first time, I legit went "who is THAT??? 👀 That's ME??? That's MY body? What in the!!?!"
From having to wear a medium sized life vest (when I realized at the end I should have used a Small).. to being able to actual rappel down the cave (max weight was 265 pounds.. I was once 35 pounds away to not being able to do it).. to having over 140 photos being taken of me and not having me cringe at seeing full body size shots of myself... to doing so many activities that day (zip lining, cliff diving, kayaking, snorkelling, the list goes on!!) and not feeling winded or tired... I have gained so much in life and gained so much happiness since taking back my life and getting control over it. My tool (gastric sleeve) has helped me gain a new appreciation on life, eating well and remaining active -- which in turn, allows me to really enjoy days like the one I had where this photo was taken. Life is amazing. ❤
