[Racepack Semi-Madrid 🏃🏼♀️🇪🇸]
Hola chicas, chicos 👋👋 !!
İn Laos, the buddhist students and monks are different from the other buddhist countries ( Forexample Tayland & Cambio) They are also in daily life too.. and work. They work on constructions as workers, they wash their cloths in the river, they go downtown buy everything they need.
İn Laos there is no beggar, no rich people, no homeless people. At least I haven't seen :)) ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Well...I’m back 💪🏽. Not running yet, but I finally went to the gym to lift weights. I needed to get my body moving and within 20 minutes I was sweating bullets which felt amazing. Not really pushing my body yet but it’s good to break a little sweat 😓.
There are a few things I have learned about my body throughout the years.
1️⃣ My body takes longer to recover. I used to compare myself to others and would see how they would be running a day or two after a marathon. Naturally, I would give in and run. If I would of been smart, I could of avoided many injuries. But instead, I was sucked into comparison. 🤦🏽♀️
2️⃣ My body performs better running on quality runs and with strength training. I used to avoid weights or other strength training 🚫
3️⃣ But the most important thing, I have learned this cycle is to stretch, roll and recover properly. I was rolling every night for at least 20 minutes, stretching before and after a run and doing ice baths on the longer runs. These little things made a huge difference in my training. 🙌🏽
In running, you just keep learning and learning. Right now, my biggest goal for the future is to practice fueling. Plain and simple, I rarely do the gels because of my sensitive stomach. But I know it could potentially help my performance. It’s fun to learn as I go. I know I have to be patient with my body and ALWAYS remember that might work for others, might not work for me. ☝🏽
The humpbacks have arrived in Tonga!!! For any photographers heading over this season be sure to take part in the Tongan Fluke Collectice. The TFC is forming a catalogue of the humpbacks frequenting these waters. The tail fluke of whales is unique for each individual acting as a fingerprint so any clear photographs of the underside of the whales flukes would be awesome!
