AUGUST! Fully aware I am NOT serving my best portrait face here but I’m still REALLY feeling this 70’s coral pink, high neck, chiffon dress overlay thing. Also, I handmade the beaded earrings to match Dolly’s. This look is sorta from the 1978 era when she has the single “Baby, I’m Burnin’ featuring sporadic ray-gun sci-fi noises! (Note to self: If you do this shot again, Swarovski the hell outta the rest of the dress, style a different wig, don’t cross your eyes, learn to smile 😀.) Shot by 📸 @lucylariot in Brooklyn! .

A little sleepy looking after @thevintageshow set up but honored to be featured in @nyc_looks. Wearing my 70s Sears jumpsuit suit from @shopworship
Post reads: “I’m inspired by history. I wear vintage clothing to keep the stories of those from the past alive. I specifically like wearing 1970s because of all the social reform that went on during that time period. I think the clothes highlight the era as a moment of human empowerment.” Also special thank you to @tobias.h.bui for capturing this look in action
