Falling into my stride 🏃🏼♀️ and it feels good!
Running (albeit not far) has become therapy for me.
It’s a time to work through the thoughts in my head and release some energy.
I’ve been loving the new @Garmin #fenix5SPlus watch ⏰ while on my runs.
It of course has a wrist-based HR ❤️ monitor. But what I love more is that it has Spotify right in the watch, so I can disconnect and head out the door phone-free for some true “me” time.
What do you do when you need some “me” time?
it’s almost turkey time!! this is last year’s turkey situation. since we only had 5 of us, we opted to sous vide turkey breast for 24 hours and it was literally the best EVERRRR! so juicy and moist AF. def gonna do it again this year in addition to a whole bird in the oven, cuz you can never have enough turkey. #amiright#sousvide#thanksgiving#turkey
"Throwback Thursday" to my back. I am doing a 30 day hot yoga challenge at my gym and I thought my back was pretty strong.. but it's screaming (after 3 days 😂)...it's definatley not what I expected but it's fun to challenge my body in a new way!
Full disclosure..I used the lux filter so you could see my back muscles.. the lighting totally washed me out (and asking my husband to take pictures
Is hard enough as is 🤷♀️)
For those that will ask, I don't do anything specific to train my back. I show up for full body weight classes at the gym usually 2x a week since October 2017. I have no idea how to to target back fat. From my very basic knowledge of fitness, if you work out an area, you can only control gaining muscle there, not losing fat. Though I could be wrong 🤷♀️
