Songkran is the Thai New Year festival celebrated lavishly in Thailand and observed on the same day
of Bengali New Year. JW Marriott Kolkata is hosting a Songkran Food Festival, at the much-loved signature Asian restaurant – Vintage Asia.
The menu for the Songkran food festival has been designed by Chef Suvit Tongnark, the Thai Specialty Chef from Phuket

In the appetisers:
(Deep fried prawn cake with plum sauce)
the plum sauce had a nice balance of sweetness ans spice

(Authentic style pomelo salad with water chestnut, roasted coconut, fried shallot) >Tom sab gai
(North eastern style spicy soup with chicken, ground roasted rice, shallot, flat parsley)
The soup was very rich in flavours to fix your taste. >GaiPhad med mamuanghimmaphan
(Wok fried chicken with cashew nut and dried chili)
(Steamed Bekti with spicy chili, garlic lime sauce)
I have an undoubted love for bekti and with the lime sauce it was very soothing effect aroud alll other dishes

This dish was one of my favourite because I loved the heat, don't forget to order it.

They come with the option Egg/Chicken/Prawn. This was the best out of the menu. >Fuk thong kati
(Warm pumpkin in coconut milk syrup)
You know Payesh? The rice custard that your mom makes specially during your birthdays, this has a resemblance in taste.
The dishes will be displayed as a part of a special ala carte menu and a special offer on set menu priced at INR 1999/- will
