18.10.18: "There will be traffic - just need to find a way to manoeuvre through it" - Gym was busy & there was a time where that would cut my workout short and I'd go home but this time , I didn't let it affect me. This journey is far more than aesthetic - you will build confidence.Strained my calf muscle a bit so next day is rest day. Glad to be toning up - even in places I thought I was already toned 😍

Wanted to take this Fitness Friday with my @sweetsweat to share one of my favorite ab exercises. ✨⚡️✨⚡️✨
I’ve recently incorporated #weights into my #abroutine & have noticed massive change. Adding weights causes hypertrophy forcing more bloodflow into the muscle and inevitably #burningmorefat ✨⚡️✨⚡️✨
Try my current favorite! #DeclineBench#situps.
1️⃣ Keep weight held overhead
2️⃣ Reach toward ceiling, not forward
3️⃣ Keep core tight
4️⃣ Fight gravity. AKA take your time declining
5️⃣Don’t overdo the weight & if the decline is enough for now, we have lots of time and room to grow 💜
You don’t have to go to the gym to sculpt the abs. Swipe right for some of my favorite ab moves from the 80 day program I’m doing. Oh, and grab some paper plates...you’ll need them ➡️⠀
If you try these leave me a comment below how it went! Do you guys want to see more things like this?
3 years ago Shaun T was yelling "core tight knees up!"
I was about ready to fall over and die!
My core was jiggling literally like jello, I was gasping for air thinking how am I supposed to breathe and keep my core tight at the same time...oh and also not pass out and die
I had NO core strength, it was literally like a fluffy donut around my midsection and every time I heard "core tight" I wanted to punch straight through the TV out of sheer rage and confusion because I just couldnt keep my non existent core tight!
That was my very first workout
Today when I crunch up, while you can barely SEE my core muscles, I can feel each individual one when I keep my "core tight" There are still days where Im doing some crazy jumping move and have no idea how to do both at the same time but I do know, comitting to keeping my core tight every day whether I had one or not has ended with massive results.
You may not see or feel them today, or tomorrow, or even 3 months from now, but if you STAY CONSISTENT, the results ALWAYS come
This is a cool challenge, I saw involving both core stability and strength. This was definitely killer 🔥😈 @chrisjinna .
Thanks @niajoyhall for the challenge 😁👍🏾 Music “Wanna be cool” By Chance the Rapper
#liift4 Week 6/Day 4, Legs HIIT. Tough tough tough one for me today. Not focused. Too much on my mind. (It’s in my story). But! A workout is better than no workout at all. Heart rate was up so it wasn’t a total loss. And I’m not complaining about the HIIT, just saying it wasn’t my best workout today. 😊 #determination
