BE HONEST. How often do you compare your skin journey to someone elses?🌸🍃
Do you ever go on Instagram and look at someone who’s skin cleared up much faster than yours?✨
Someone who is using the EXACT products you do and they now have clear skin?✨
Someone who decided to quit eating dairy 2 weeks ago and now they have clear skin while you haven’t enjoyed a nice slice of cheese in 3 years and you still get breakouts?✨
Someone who switched out their moisturizer and that solved all their skin problems?✨
That shit can get frustrating right? Seeing someone else who has figured out what helps them clear their skin while you are still in the dark.
But let me tell you this: ❌Don’t compare your step 2 to someone else’s step 10. You have no idea what this other person has done and been through to get to this point.
Someone else’s success doesn’t take away from YOURS.🌸 Seeing someone else get what you want only means that it can be possible for you too!
So instead of getting frustrated and upset that someone is further along in their skin journey than you are and they now have clear skin while you still don’t, see it as inspiration as to what is possible. Instead of getting down on yourself or even pissed off at this person, celebrate them and be happy for them because if you sit there all annoyed and petty, I can assure you that you are pushing your own goal farther away from you.
There is NO WAY for you to have something when you are jealous and envious of someone else having that thing. You feeling that way only tells the Universe that this is not something you want. What you focus on expands, like attracts like. It’s science my love.
Celebrate this other person and be happy for and with them. Get excited that very soon this will be you.
✨Have you ever gotten down on yourself because someone else has what you want?✨
✨ HAPPY WEDNESDAY ✨

Catching up on #skinemmies2018 with my favorite SPF. Actually, I don't think I have an absolute favorite SPF. Just different ones that work well at different times and different situations.
These three sunscreens do have in common that they contain only inorganic filters and are therefore very gentle. Plus they play nicely with other skincare and makeup - no pilling (I can't stand pilling, feel I have to wash it all off and start over again). Here are my top 3 used SPFs in 2018, in no particular order:
🌞 Paula's Choice Resist Super-light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF30. Lightly tinted with a matte finish, contains 13% Zinc oxide. Have been using this for a while, tend to use it more in winter. 🌞 Farmacy Green Screen SPF30 with 2.4% Titanium dioxide and 5.82% Zinc oxide. Bought this on my NYC trip in April this year. No tint, but I didn't mind the very, very light white cast. Not a completely matte finish, but not glowy either. Felt like good protection during the last hot and sunny summer and I wore this pretty much every day during our 5 week holiday.
🌞 Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF30 with 20% Zinc oxide. Also bought in NYC, so new to me this year. With a tint and a glow, great to even out my skintone and tone down my pigmentation. Although the glow also comes from the gold specks in this sunscreen, and I normally run from things containing shiny glittery bits, I absolutely love this sunscreen and dread the day it will run out. Common @drunkelephant please start selling this in the UK soon!
