This week has just been one of those weeks… Where life throws you a face full of reality and you just have to take it. For those of you who don’t know, we have 2 beautiful pups that we didn’t take with us in the van. They’re old, and frankly they preferred staying with my parents being spoilt anyway.
Well on Thursday we had to say goodbye to our cheeky white fluff ball, Hunnie 🐶 It was her time 💫 But no matter how prepared we could have made ourselves it doesn’t make it ache any less. And not being able to go through it together is harder than I imagined.. Andrew is in WA for work this week and there was no way around it. Hunnie had such a huge presence, she was a big character, so this week we’ve been trying to focus on the countless happy memories that bring a smile to our faces, instead of the huge hole she left in our lives. Beyond grateful we got to spend her last 2 weeks with her 💜💛❤️
We’re not spending much time in Idaho but stops along the highway like this make the long drive worth it. Mahsa’s been talking about wildflowers this whole trip and her dreams finally came true today 🌼🚐 #vanlife#roadsideviews
@overland_history is hosting an awesome trip coming up!>>> On Sept. 20th, 12 Pre-Selected Overland Vehicles will converge on the Outer Banks of NC, for a 6-Day, 700 mile Expedition, with Savannah, GA as the Goal Destination, in which a 3-Part YouTube Series will follow. 😎👍🏻

so excited to finally see this splash of yellow atop #juanthevan ᴀɴᴅ be able to stand up inside !!
✧ as usual, things are never as simple as assumed, we tacked this entire baby on inside out and had to redo it, and haven’t gotten to fiberglassing the luggage rack to fit our van, but man does it feel good to add a workable kitchen, dining room, and attic to our tiny abode ☻
