Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016) Movie Review #batmanvsupermandawnofjustice#moviereview#jimbobtalksmovies. SPOILERS (You have been warned). Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. This was my number one most anticipated movie of 2016 at the time and it turned out to be a big disappointment, there are parts of the film that are really good but most of the time they are overshadowed by really dumb things. I mean come on "My mom's name is Martha too, let's be friends". First off Ben Affleck is a good Batman I was very surprised by how good he was, he's not quite Michael Keaton or Christian Bale but he's definitely a contender. My favourite scene in the entire film is when Batman breaks into the building to rescue Martha Kent and he's taking out guys left, right and centre kicking a ton of ass, I love that scene. Superman didn't have much dialogue at all in this movie I've heard he had less lines than Spider-Man did in Civil War. There is so much going on in this movie that I felt a lot of it could of been cut to give us more screen time with Batman and Superman. The opening scene with Lois Lane and the terrorists didn't make a lot of sense. Some of the other scenes don't need to be in this movie and could of been cut to show us more time with our heroes and less of these uninteresting side characters. When the eventual fight between Supes and Batman kicks off, it was an ok fight I just wish it were a little longer and they resolved their differences differently rather than them just having a mother with the same name. To me that's lazy writing. Overall Batman v Superman isn't a bad movie it does have some enjoyment but it is overshadowed by poor writing, a bad Lex Luthor casting and I felt Doomsday was only in this movie for something for the heroes to fight at the end. Wonder Woman didn't really need to be in the film as much as she was but it was still cool to see her. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice gets #6/10 from @JimbobTalksMovies. Я прочитала этот детектив в за пару тройку дней.Он интересный,правда моментами вызывал отвращение,но в целом интересно,особенно для таких любителей триллеров как и я🧟♂️.

I remember seeing Man of Steel on a Thursday premiere night at my local movie theater when I was 9. I remember loving this movie. I rewatched it a couple of days ago and it wasn’t as good as I remembered. It was a good movie but it wasn’t as amazing as I thought it was. Man of Steel was a good start to the DCEU. It was an entertaining movie with a decent story. The story was pretty much Superman 2 but with some changes but it was still fun to watch with new action scenes and better effects. Henry Cavill actually did a pretty good job as Superman. My only problem with his character is that he’s more serious. This whole movie is more dark and brooding. I can expect that from a Batman movie but it kind of felt weird in a Superman movie. Michael Shannon was great as general Zod. He really fit the serious tone this movie was trying to make. He was a great villain, his plot to bring back Krypton was very effective. Amy Adams was good as Lois Lane. She had more to do with the story than just be a damsel in distress. The action scenes in this movie were great. They were very entertaining and fun to watch. It’s fairly spread out through the movie so we don’t get too bored. Now I can start with the main flaws with this movie. It’s a bit too serious. I already talked about it earlier in the review but this movie just tries to be too serious. It’s like they forgot that Superman can be a more fun and colorful character. The serious tone did work with some parts of the movie but it’s just that it didn’t fully fit Superman’s character. Another small complaint was the story. It’s pretty much Superman 2 but with better visuals and effects, along with some changes. Overall this is a pretty good super hero movie. It isn’t as good as some marvel movies but it was a good start to the DCEU. It could’ve been a better movie but I’m not disappointed with what we got.

You should get ready for #SharpObjects 👀. About the character: you don’t have to be perfect to be a mirror, you know what I mean? She’s been battling her demons, she’s not been allowed to blossom. She’s been focused on surviving. Available on #HBO sooner than you think 🖤. #amyadams

Her, from 2013, written and directed by the uber-talented Spike Jonze.
For whatever reason, I had yet to see this film. There was no rhyme or reason, it just slipped through the cracks.
Wow, what a fine film. Joaquin Phoenix plays a lonely writer in the near future who develops an unlikely relationship with an operating system designed to meet his every need.
Everything here is so well done. Phoenix really embodies loss, loneliness and that desire for companionship. Amy Adams is fantastic as the former girlfriend turned neighbor and Scarlett Johansson as Samantha is everything.
Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and Chris Pratt lend to a stellar ensemble cast as well.
I loved everything about Her and to me is the defining romance film for this new age.
If you were like me, and didn't see it yet, please do so ASAP.
My Score: 9/10
