Hellloooo everyone and Welcome to part 4 of explaining an learning a bit more about American Black Bears. Hit that like button for support btw! Just double tap, your finger won't hurt if ya doo 😜😜😜
Ok so let's start. On the last post we were talking about evolution of these species.
So there is a American Black bear fossil that is so old. They were located in Port Kennedy, Pennsylvania. These fossils represented Asiatic Black Bears tho. These fossils showed that those species of Black bears back in the past, grew as big as Grizzlys. Which is about a hundred kilos more than they originally are now.
After the Holocene era started approximately 11,650 years ago(which is the reason of many species going extinct).
However, after the Holocene Era started, Black bears have changed significantly on body size.
It is not known for sure why, but in my thoughts I think it's because of the fact that they had to adapt on new surroundings to quickly and the unexpected Change of food resources. Even tho they are small, population decrease isn't a threat tho. Because they count around 1 million.
The American Black bear lived during the same period as the short faced bears known as Arctodus Simus and Arctodus Pristinus And the Florida spectacled bears.(Tremarctos floridanus).
Actually I made a post all about the short faced bear Arctodus Simus. Most of my followers might not know that but it was done months ago. However these short faced bears weighed up to 950kg!! They are one of the biggest bears to ever exist!
Alright everyone, don't wanna over whelm you with info so that's it for today. Comment on what you think about all this and tag a friend who should see this!

The cat is loyal to its owner and does not infringe upon the rights of others unless it is esteemed if he wants a need to come quietly and sit politely and then send those looks and the voice of the meow if it is good to wipe you with an expression of thanks, when you want him to play your player and Slack If stopped you stop it and that I felt loneliness Anas alone, In which a flood of tenderness and compassion on his young is not in other animals clean animal we see always clean himself tongue knows how to deal with young people do not hurt them if they hurt him as saying to himself these children do not know the harm to me,

We visited the Turtle Rescue Center on Zakynthos. Volunteers are doing a great job over there! We each got to hold a 8 month old land turtle and were as happy as a kid. Precious moments 😀👍. Pictured is a somewhat older model 😉.
