So I had bought this sleeveless hoodie a while back and didn’t put it on for a workout because of my insecurities that I’ll talk about some other day. But point is, yesterday was the first day I said “fuck it” and went to the gym with it on and goddamn did it feel great.
I realized that sometimes our insecurities can make us look at ourselves in a way others don’t see. And it can be something much more psychological (body dysmorphia maybe?) but sometimes all we need is to step out of our shells and face our problems with our chest out and head held high. I’m not saying it’s easy at all, it takes time, and a lot of it.
A still forging this powerhouse of a mindset. It’s a chess game. Analyze each and every move you make in whatever you do. And WORK to get better. You’re gonna fail at times, but it’s important to get your ass back up and do it again and again. Let’s get to work.
