Only time my focus is on point!🤗
This time my entire focus is on Burmese food.Of all the Asian cuisines that have spread over the globe, Burmese food hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. There's a more than understandable explanation for this, given that the country was isolated for almost 50 years due to a repressive military dictatorship.
Burmese flavours are on strong, pungent flavors, not sweet or spicy flavors.
And to get you acquainted with same , @burmaburmaindia has done a fabulous work. ( It's all Vegetarian)
How Do You Like Your Eggs in the Morning? - - - 🍳🐣🥚 I like mine as an art installation! OK confession o'clock: I'm generally not a huge fan of eggs. I know, I know don't crucify me haha. I don't mind them in cakes etc. but I just can't deal with the taste of them on their own! But what I can do is appreciate how pretty they are. For example, I love this cracking new art installation called, 'My Name is Lettie Eggsyrub' by @heatherphillipson x @artontheunderground. Gloucester Road tube station has never looked so eggs-cellent with these giant fibreglass eggs. At first I thought it was a yolk but it's 80m of eggs-citing video, sculpture, music, drawing, poetry and collages. So if you fancy going on an egg hunt, head to Platform 3 of the station which was a previously disused. You'll find all your egg dreams have come true!
- - - Rosh Realness - - - If you weren't persuaded to check this out for the art, you must check it out for the of disbelief on commuters' faces. That's pure entertainment! 🥚🐣🍳 (P.S. Swipe ⬅️ to see 'before the edit')
Tomorrow is #SmilePowerDay! 🌞 In honour of this happy holiday, I thought I'd share the smiley face makeover that I gave my beret! I officially have a sewing addiction and, as you can tell by this hat, I am NOT mad about it 😜 Hope you all smile lots today, tomorrow, and every other day too ☺️ #thesmalladventurercreates
Today I went to the popular -and a little feared- Colonia Doctores. The other day while passing by in the car I saw several walls covered with fascinating street art and I promised to return. The Old Toy Museum has been on Calle Dr. Olvera for over a decade and, it is said, has the largest toy collection in the world. Inside the building, in its parking lot, and in neighboring streets, several national and international artists have been commissioned to decorate with their urban art houses, schools and buildings with characters from the collective imagination, cartoons, fantastic animals and other original creations. There came a point when I overdosed aesthetically and I just wanted to escape from there because I liked it so much, that I could not stop taking pictures of each corner. This area, popular -and a little feared, less and less- Colonia Doctores, has become one of my favorite places in Mexico City. Who wants to go back with me?
