The bash brothers Michael and Matthew were in the building this morning. Love working with these guys!
Matthew set a distance personal record of 181 he’s 11, that’s really good!
And Michael set a exit velocity personal record of 85 MPH.
Both of these guys have worked really hard to get a better stretch in their load to help them attack pitches more aggressively from all angles!
Great work guys, keep going!

Tonight I will be kicking off our free agent target series with a guy that I, along with many other fans, have long had eyes on as a potential player of interest. That player is Bryce Harper.
Just by watching Bryce Harper play, you can tell that he is a superstar. He’s a franchise-changing player that already has an MVP in his back pocket, and is still just 26 years old. When that kind of talent hits the open market, it catches some eyes. Harper slashed .249/.393/.496 in what many called a disappointing 2018 season. That .249 average doesn’t tell even close to the whole story. Harper was still among the league leaders in hard hit ball percentage, smacked 34 home runs, and played to a .889 OPS. The career .279 hitter hit the ball way better than some of the numbers showed last year. He is a generational talent with his prime still ahead of him, so passing on Harper would not be smart for a franchise and a city craving a superstar. Now, signing Harper would definitely cost a big chunk of change, but looking at some recent signs given off by the front office, they are for sure willing to make a big offer. They threw out huge money at David Price a couple years ago and were willing to take on Giancarlo Stanton’s massive $300+ million dollar deal via trade just one year ago. All that on top of a big new TV deal and you get a team with money that they are ready to spend to get the team back to greatness.
I think a fair deal for Harper would probably be 12 years with a contract worth $420 million. That would bring the average salary to $35 million which is about what a talent such as Harper would cost.
