I’m not a positive person. I usually focus on the negative because, to me, that’s what there is. Something wrong for me to fix or worry about or stress about or consume my time with. Or, if it’s news I’m waiting to hear, I think of the worst case scenario so I won’t be surprised or hurt. Sounds a little depressing, right?
I’ve listened to this podcast about positive words for your children. Her belief is that if you think positive about a person (child, spouse, etc.,.) and thank them for the good, then you change your perspective. Not only about the individual but also about yourself and the situation. But, it comes from you. Not the situation. Not the other person changing. It’s you.
I thought this way of thinking/dealing with problems is profound! It seems so simple but to change what you think is so challenging. I feel like, ‘it’s in my head, no one hears it and no one will know what I’m thinking’. That’s not true. The negative way of thinking does come out in my actions, attitude, and voice. It’s an inside reflection of me!
This is so mind blowing how I deal with my children and husband. This was a message I needed to hear and something I can change about myself. So, think positive!❤️ #designbythevine#thinkpositive#goodwords#positivewords#shooshthenegative#beabettermom#insidereflection#changeforthebetter#happymama#enjoythelittlethings#youreincontrol#beautifulpicture#photography
