Live in gratitude cause it gives us a fresh perspective and appreciation for life.
I had to remind myself last weekend that I am alive... Have people I love... Am on vacation in the f**king woods! (Yeah, I was on vacation stressing out. 🤦🏾♂️)
Your turn. List 2-3 things you're grateful for 👇🏾.
Rant time! It honestly makes me so mad when people tell me how lucky I am and how good I've got it!
Ive got two beautiful little boys and an amazing partner that will go to the ends of the earth for us. But what many people don't see or stop to realise me and my partner work bloody hard to get the boys everything they need, we go without so they can have! We don't spend stupid amounts of money on luxurious things. we just about get by so we can save for 1 holiday a year (the last of which for the next 4 years!) I work a dead end job so I'm going through education to better myself! To give the boys a mom to be proud of. I don't see them 75% of the time a week because of work and college and Matt sees them even less. We sit down some days and they do things that we think are the first time but in truth they have been doing it for weeks at nursery. Me and Matt rarely see each other and we rarely get to go out together. I've gone through pnd and became a stronger woman I battle daily with PCOS and Endometriosis. When I'm in pain I still get up with the boys and live each moment like it's our last. So no I'm not 'lucky' and no we don't have it 'easy' we strive to give our kids all we can like any other parent in life. Next time someone tells you about an event or a couple spending a night off from being a parent don't judge. You don't know what happens in there life, they may need time to actually see each other and be a couple. They may only have that 1 event a year.
