In both of these pictures I’m in pain, the one on the left I’ve just lost control of it for a while, the one on the right I’m heavily medicated usually crutches to walk; I just happen to ya e done my hair and makeup 💄 The point of this post is you simply never know what someone is going through, you don’t know the pain they are feeling. So don’t be too judgy, take time out of your day to interact and ask questions. And yes I took a picture of me in agony and in bits, I did it mainly to remind myself of this horrible time so I can look back and be grateful, tomorrow my spine is being operated on for the first time, I’m terrified, and I’m not a scaredy-cat where surgery is concerned, I’m terrified of anything going wrong and being in a wheelchair, I’m terrified about the effect that would have on my life and my marriage. But I hope to look back on this post next year and be so thankful for all I have. I love a rest day that’s not REALLY a rest day..
So, every Thursday in the workout rotation I’m doing it’s Yoga
Since I have such a problem sticking with a program with repeating workouts I chose this one that’s like a “Challenge Du Jour”
I get a different workout, from a different program everyday.
It doesn’t repeat to often so I’m able to really stick with it.
It’s funny though
Wednesday’s are a dance workout and I don’t dance – So their silly 🤣, fun and still a challenge
Then on Thursday’s it’s Yoga☯
Challenging yet … relaxing
And you know stretching is SUPER Important
Both of those workouts really compliment each other though…
You do know how great Yoga can be for your Martial Arts 🥋Training, Right?
So between both the Dance were💃🏼 you have cardio and coordination involved and the #yoga ☯ for stretching and balance… 💥BAM!! You just made your #MartialArts that much better How often do you throw in a good workout of #stretching and #balance?
