I’ve been doing a lot of this lately. I tore my cruciate ligament while my family was on holiday and now I’m on strict cage rest for a few weeks. So when I’m calm they let me out to cuddle but when I really want to play they make me go in the crate. Apparently running and jumping are bad right now. Kind of sucks but at least I get extra cuddles and treats.
Would you do the same job that you do now for the rest of your life if you were not paid? If money were no object and the only currency was happiness, would you continue to do what you do? For me the answer is simple, YES! My passion for helping others achieve their goals, lead healthier lives, be stronger and feel more confident about themselves gives me the most satisfaction in the world. Second only to that is my drive to be a better person both physically and mentally with each and every day. I know from the short experience I have had on this earth that nothing comes easily, but by the same token, nothing at all comes to those who wait, or those who give up. Remember, progression is progression, no matter how large or small the increment. Baby steps are fine, as long as they are forwards baby steps. Do something you love, do it well and be the person you want to be. We can fail in life doing something we absolutely hate, so why not do something we absolutely love?
