Protein ( amino acids ) are the building blocks of life . Without enough protein our bodies can not function properly .
Protein helps replace old worn cells , transports various substances throughtout the body and aids in growth and repair .
Protein also breakdowns fatty acids and uses them as energy again helping with fat loss .
Protein is also vital for good immune sysytem , metabolism , sateity , weight management and performance .
How much protein do we need ?
Answer – this all depends on activity level . The recommendation for protein is 0.8 grams per kg of bodyweight for untrained healthy adults . For people doing high intensity training protein needs might go up to 1.4 -2.0 grams per kg
You should spread your protein consumption over the dau instead of in one big meal .
You should consume protein before and after training to ensure proper recovery .
Growth is quiet. You may not realise it when you are in transition. It can feel uncomfortable, confusing and uneasy.
However, once you push through and come out the other end it always makes sense why you had to endure the extreme lows - so that you can appreciate the highs that success and living your truth gives you.
Growth is HARD. Which is why not everyone will truly experience it in this lifetime.
Not everyone has the strength and willpower to evolve, transform and leave behind everyone and everything that does not help them get closer to their true calling.
Are you comfortable with where you are in life? Where you live? Who your social group is? What you do for fun on the weekends? Do you like who you are as a person? Are you kind? Can you say you are not judgemental at all? Can you say you are a good person with good intentions?
OR Are you happy when others have bad luck? Do laugh when others fail? Do you go out of your way to spread jealousy and hate instead of love and kindness? Be honest with yourself.
