I had awful depression from Sunday night until Thursday morning, when it started to lift. I mentioned in a recent post I have a pattern of depression this time of the year.
I have been proactive with depression this week.
This is how I approached it:
🔄 I was very tired on Monday and Tuesday, so rested, watched some crappy shows, cried a bit, ate some crappy food... 🖊Picked one thing to keep working on (a feature article), just a little bit every day and did small amounts of study 🏖Exercise, from Tuesday onwards I’ve made myself be active, have kept up walking, yoga/stretching and have been to the beach twice. 💐Gardening, making the most of the sunshine, bought some garden pots too. 🍇 I haven’t been eating as much as normal for me but have still been eating well and regularly (except for Monday). 😴 Seroquel, 25mg at night, from Sunday til now. To help me have restorative sleep during this mood episode (plus Magnesium and a healthy sleep routine). Some low key meditation too.
I’m feeling stacks better as the week has progressed.
