As expected there was a few tweaks to do on the new website (cue a large G&T last night!), but keep your eyes peeled as it will launch this afternoon (fingers crossed!).
I can’t wait to bring you all the new beautiful things I’ve been making and finding for you.
WORKSHOP... I'm heading south! Come and get messy with me on Sunday 25th Feb at the wonderful @the_craft_parlour at Palm Beach, Gold Coast 🌞
Follow the link in my bio for tickets! We will create a beautiful silk scarf AND a lovely Furoshiki square which is a traditional Japanese way of gift wrapping using cotton cloth and can be reused again and again.
Recycling at it's finest 👌🏼

Here’s the thing: I love learning about new plants and roots and species I’ve never heard of and the beautiful colors they make. 🌺 But the straight-from-the-backyard, or pantry, or compost bin dyeing is way more exciting to me. Like, this stuff was right under my nose all my life! It makes a person wonder what else they aren’t seeing. 🤔 Anyway, long story short: plants are magic. Life is magic. Pay attention.
My personal collection🌿✨: All dyed by hand using scrap flowers from @avillageofflowers , food waste from @greendoorgourmet, foraged plants native to Tennessee & all sorts of different food scraps gathered from my friends, family, & neighbors➰ All brewed in small batches —either in my home studio or over a fire in my back yard here in Nashville. The colors of nature never cease to amaze me. 🎨〰️
