Anything in life worth having demands some level of sacrifice: time, money, energy/effort, getting outside your comfort zone...embrace the sacrifice so what you want doesn’t have to become the sacrifice. ✊🏾
Feeling strong, chest day was a success 💪 .
Can’t wait to lose the fluff.. I tend to hold fat in my upper body mainly in my arms a few more weeks until I start to carve the fat away and reveal what’s underneath.
A common misconception is people always compare themselves to the athletes they follow on Instagram or YouTube, and I’m sure you hear this a lot but, they have been doing this for a while and they have figured out what works for their body. For myself, I am still in the process of figuring out what works for me, and I’m perfectly fine with the process, I don’t want quick results I strive for small attainable changes. Right now I’m going through a bulk to gain muscle, hence I am carrying quite a bit more fat then I usually do, but during this process I’ve noticed my actual strength has increased and even though I can’t see my muscle as well I know that I’m getting stronger 💪 .
Learn to love the process 💪💪
I can't stress enough the importance of taking progress pictures along your fitness journey! YES, they are AWKWARD and you'll probably hate the first ones you take. However, they allow you to see change WITHOUT focusing on the number on the scale! I have been silently doubting my progress since my time with @fearstofit ended but these photos prove to me that the training plan I have created for myself is doing exactly what I set out to do! I'm bulking right now which means I have put on a few pounds and I'm okay that my belly isn't as flat as it was a few weeks back because that booty is GROWING!
I'm also incredibly focused on my gut health at the moment and my mind is blown by how RAD and important #guthealth is! I highly recommend following @theguthealthmd of you're looking to optimize your gut health, he is very knowledgeable and I have learned so much from him in the past week it's absolutely insane!
I have been very unhappy with my glute gains recently so you will be seeing a lot more my leg day workouts coming soon!🍑
When you are not happy with something make sure you are working towards these things to change them. Never give up and stay unhappy, your life is your life & you have the full control of changing it!
