I got to see 🎅🏼 and I told him all I want for Christmas is a huge bean bag like Mom’s so I won’t get in trouble for sitting on it and a big bouquet of treats 🎄🐾 Thanks @sfagentchris for letting me and my other 4 legged friends join the party and for @jesse_childress for taking my photo!!! 💓
On this 4th day of Christmas, we want to share this handsome boy named Toro! Toro is our 4th Paw of Christmas chosen because not only is he the most adorable, stout Pit Bull boy who has been waiting ever so patiently for years for a home, but he is also a special needs dog longing for a patient, structured family to give him a chance.
Toro has Mega Esophagus. A condition he was born with where essentially his esophagus does not function properly. He must sit in a chair to eat called a bailey chair, and remain there half an hour after eating. He’s not freely allowed to have access to water, food or treats. Without this feeding schedule/routine he would not be able to hold down his food, risking aspiration into his lungs.
Though ME is a very serious condition, with structure these ME dogs are able to live long, happy lives. Toro has no idea he has special needs. He loves to play with other dogs, go for walks and play with toys. He is a happy, sweet boy that would love to find a family to commit to his care and well being forever. We have become experts in his condition caring for him these past couple years and have our knowledge and love to guide any potential family interested in adopting him.
Please share and let’s let that beautiful Pittie smile pull on some heartstrings! Let’s find Toro a home for the holidays! ❤️🙏🐾
