Ahh... Yes, the question almost every prospective coaching client always asks me.
It's a valid question... But one that asks for an answer that causes too much headache to fully assimilate.
I like to keep things a lot simpler.
There are two ways to find what online business you want to start. I call them models actually.
I. The You-View Model
II. The World-View Model
The You-View Model, as the name implies, requires you to look inward. It boils down to 2 questions:
- What do you know?
- What can you do?
The first question boils down to your knowledge. What particular field do you have knowledge about? Assess yourself and you can definitely find something you can teach online to someone for a fee.
The second is about your skills.
If there's something you can do offline well, you can teach it or you can go online and create a business around it, by either consulting or actually providing the skill on a freelance basis to people who need your services.
The WorldView Model is about looking outside you, and finding a problem.
Basically, you'll have to keep your eyes and ears open for complaints and problems.
Like I like to say, other people's problems are an entrepreneur's cash cow.
So you find a problem, create an online solution to it, and market your solution
That's how you figure out what online business you should start. It's not by copying what everybody else is doing.
P.S. If you would like me to help you get clarity on what online business ideas you could start, slide in my DM right now for a consultation.
The entrepreneurs we talk to aren’t in the game to get rich. Yea, the big pay day will be nice but most are in it for freedom. “The 4-Hour Work Week” will teach you how to create the life you want. Read it. Take it all in. Then get to work creating the life YOU WANT on your terms 👊🏻🚀 #entrepreneurlife
