Hello! I’m so sorry if I’m a bit behind on floral e-mails and responses this week. I’m currently slammed with other less exciting e-mails and phone calls from welders, machinists, and moving contractors all day. Somehow I thought I could do a marble dining table restoration project with two engineers and myself while moving these past weeks. 😅 In addition, I’m wrapping up my final work week in LA on arbitrary asylum cases in court. It’s crazy to say goodbye to 8 years of my work here in SoCal. Some of you know that by day, I work full time as a diplomat and research officer for the UN. Our move to San Francisco is because I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to develop a new curriculum on gender data (something I’m also really passionate about) at Cal Berkeley next year. So please be patient, and I will get back to everyone sometime this week. Thank you for your support and kindness! #thelittlefloristthatcould
I went to the field with the intention of cleaning up the beds where the fall bulbs will go, but I kept getting distracted by these beauties. At least half the job is done. It’s so hard to say goodbye sometimes.
Dark plum shades, peachy/coral hues and blush tones look set to be strong again for wedding & event dahlias in 2019. Here are some of our top picks with the irrepressible, perpetual favourite #cafeaulait What are your predictions?
I admire the dahlia's determination to keep performing after the storm we had a few days ago...lots of the varieties we have are past their best, but the cafe au lait are still flowering their socks off!
