‘When a chick pulls a perfect pull-up 😛’ HAHA, anyways.
I’m on the third week of the Phase 2 of my challenge, and this week is my ‘DELOAD’ week. For those unfamiliar with the term, it’s basically a week where you train with less intensity and lighter resistance, in order to promote muscle recovery and growth. It also helps in preparing your body for a heavier period of training. 💪
For me, it’ll be simply be doing the standard bodyweight push-ups, pull/ups and squats. No extra weights, no fancy variations of these exercises. This will also allow me time and energy to REALLY focus on maintaining perfect form for these exercises even when I’m hitting failure on each set. Sometimes, in order to progress, you have to take one step back to take two steps forward.✌️
