So not every interaction can be a good one. And unfortunately after meeting up with @georgetownflvrs for the 5th time, I’ve had my first bad meet up with them. So it starts with me seeing their post on June 10th (swipe to see the post), which advertised their @the.chroncierge’s “Forbidden Fruit” for “50PTS TODAY ONLY! LIMITED!”. After seeing that, I thought maybe there was an opportunity to get a zip of this “top-shelf” strain for 300PTS? (normally only available for 350PTS)
Mind you, I’ve never tried to haggle with their posted menu sticker prices previous to this. But seeing this “today only” post from them made me think I could ask if the “special” could be applied to a zip, and not just a single 1/8?
Their immediate response was: “We don’t have enough to fill that order, Would you like to grab what we have”? I asked how many 1/8’s did they have available,
they said: “About 4”. I said, “I could go 150PTS for 4 stickers, I’m available tomorrow between 1pm & 1:30pm”
to meet-up if they wanted to accept my offer. (At that moment, it was 2am)
Well 30mins later I got my answer, at 2:30am
they wrote: “No sir, 200 PTS 4 stickers”
I wrote back immediately, saying that I understood, and explained my reasoning to them once more before giving up. And I wrote this: “Ok, thanks for your time! 🙏
I only made a below menu price offer, because you had advertised a discounted 1/8
So I figured you would also pass along a discounted full zip.
You said you didn’t have all 8, but you did have 4.
So I looked at your menu, saw 200points normally, and made my offer of 150points.
That was my thinking.” At 2:37am, they wrote back this: “We will get back to you tomorrow”
The next morning, at 8:52am, I received a text from them, saying:
Talked it over with the team and decided we can do the 4 - 150 it’s our last of the forbidden (nugs are small) we figure you’ve been supportive of us aswell and will be happy to accomodate this donation.”
