Well to be fair, I don’t think this is the ONLY reason #cannabisstocks are doing well 😁💁🏼♀️
I honestly don’t know why I understand the stock market as well as I do, but I just get it. When my financial advisor told me over a year ago to invest in tech stocks, I KNEW that it was a bad decision 😬 Maybe when you grow up poor it’s easier to understand what people will spend money on? I don’t know. But I knew the minute I saw $300 share prices that tech stocks were outrageously bloated and I wanted none of it 🙅🏼♀️
And now people are finally coming around to pot stocks, but when I first invested people thought I was crazy. Cannabis is a fad, it will never be legal. Its a “sin” stock. BLAH BLAH BLAH 🤨 And now its a booming billion dollar industry, the fastest growing industry in the country 🤑 And longtime investors are starting to see that I speak sense. That its time to bet on something besides tech. Its time to find a NEW industry to invest in 💯
And this is the PERFECT time to invest, especially with Canada moving fast towards full legalization 👌🏼 And again, I’m SO passionate about teaching people to invest because debt is a form of oppression. Making your OWN money, your own way is true freedom. Trust me on that 😉 And with pot stocks under $0.50 cents a share there’s really never been a better time to start 🙌🏼🤓💚 Article: @cnbc #mondaymotivation

High demand for budding cannabis career training programs. Damian Kettlewell, Founder and Blissco Cannabis CEO quoted in Global BC article. 🔗 in the bio 👆
“The future, we believe, is in oils and extracts and consumables. If you want to get involved with that field then having a chemistry background and process flow engineering would be helpful as well.” Kettlewell helped develop some of the Kwantlen courses, and said knowledge of the regulatory framework is essential.
What Aurora’s public announcement really means with Shopify
Trying to find a payment gateway before legalization isn’t as easy as it appears. So I reached out to Shopify to make sense of Aurora’s public announcement.
Shopify looked into this for me and replied
I did noticed on this page that Aurora is listed as a trusted member of the community so I did some further digging into this with the help of some of the details you mentioned earlier. I do see that Aurora has publicly announced it will be using the Shopify to build their new website for cannabis sales - this comes down to the fact that a merchant can sell just about anything on Shopify as long as it is legal within the merchants jurisdiction. However, like every other store on our platform, they will need to find a payment gateway that works for them to process their sales online.
Please let me know if you have any further questions and I’ll be happy to help the best I can!

1.Good on Shopify for having a cannabis friendly platform
2.Cannabis friendly gateways to actually purchase products online aren’t there yet.
3.As of right now I’ve only found one cannabis friendly gateway in Canada, and I’m still looking into them and will get back with you.
4. This announcement isn’t anything unique or special as ANYONE can sell on Shopify.
The province of British Columbia and Ontario have also made announcements they’ll be using Shopify for e-commerce.
