We are so incredibly thankful for the amazing work that Chance and his crew have put into this event. Along with all of the amazing Chicago public school teachers and staff and what they have to done to make sure that this will carry on.
It was such an exciting event for these kids and it will benefit them for years to come!
....and love is a terrible thing to waste...
What HE said || A little story below 👇
On Tuesdays, I’m up in Lakeview. After teaching my morning class I stumbled upon a gentleman making some art right outside an elementary school. With the sunshine beaming down, a smile across his face and Elton John playing from his Bluetooth speaker, I couldn’t help put stop. A teacher at the school, he was “sharing the love” as he said it best and creating some art on the sidewalk. He told me he wakes up daily to do a little good and share his love.
I went on to tell him that’s exactly what I believe in too— we can each do our part, share our joy, share our art (yep, we are all artists) and sprinkle our cheer.
Leaving feeling grateful for bumping into my new friend, Matt. I walked across town, still thinking of this encounter, sat myself in a park and wrote these words : “No feeling is ever final.”
Sunshine comes, Thunder comes, Rain comes, but then the sun begins to shine again. I needed to remember this, I needed to meet Matt today. I believe in these encounters.
So my friends: please trust the sun, believe in it. Honor the rain too. Do your part. Keep looking up. Sprinkle your shine, your energy, your cheer.❤️

We are beyond grateful for the wonderful work that Chance the Rapper and InSciEd Out have been able to accomplish for the wonderful CPS schools. These new programs and classrooms will go above and beyond for these kids and teach them more about curiosity and creativity than we could have ever imagined.
We are so thankful for this wonderful experience and can't wait to see what's ahead of us in the future!
