According to Google Photos, one year ago today my mom @artandstole and I were at #QuiltCon in Savannah, GA. Between morning and afternoon sessions I'd drive the hour roundtrip to #Tybee to soak up as much February #beach sunshine as possible, and when I was lucky she'd join me. A year later, after following a calling and decade-old dream I can finally claim the beach as one of my homes in a physical sense. I had assumed this would take several more years, but God is so good and He has opened all the right doors to bring me here!! I am so blessed with the best family and friends I could hope for, plus two gorgeous places to call home and especially a loving, generous Heavenly Father 💖🌊🙌🌴💖
” (Markos, 12:28-33) #jesus#luka#biblia#christian#christ
Took a walk around a local church while on a weekend jaunt around Yorkshire. This one is particularly beautiful and the history is fascinating. The main central part dates to 1194 however, it has been significantly built on since this time in the 14th century, other minor additions and some Victorian work. One can see an example of how the choir stalls and rear of the church were added later in the 3rd picture as the centre of the arch in the back of the original wall does not line up with the Roman-arched window behind it. The stained glass is stunning and the building proves an interesting little visit. The area generally is highly historical and traditionally well-off with a local hamlet “Warlaby” even having its own cow type in the Doomesday book.
