Do your treat meals get out of control and ruin all your hard work??
Depending on what type of nutrition / training plan you are following treat meals and be the make or break for most people!
I personally try to eat super clean 5/6 days a week allowing myself 1-2 treat meals a week. This really helps me to continue be good during the week as I tend to save my treat meals for the weekend or when I have a plan dinner with friends ect.
How do you stop your treat ruining all the hard work you have done that week.... don’t let it turn into a whole treat day or weekend!!!!

The more organised your are the less likely you will be to fall off track, make sure you fridge and cupboards are stocked up with fresh healthy food 👍🏼 Don’t make being healthy boring, find foods that you like and keep adding variety.
There are sooo many healthy alternatives out there now we are so lucky! Stay focused and you will achieve your goals!
My top tips for treat meals:
If you really trying to lose weight/body fat and are on a slight calorie deficient diet then I would still try not to go over your calorie allowance too much. When you are trying to drop body weight / fat even in your treat meals you should definitely be trying to avoid the following foods:
Anything deep fat fired!
Ice cream, cakes, biscuits, pastries ect!
Remember it should only be ONE meal and not the whole day. If for example you are going out for a nice lunch I would have a very light breakfast and dinner that day.
If you are social bee and go out to eat a lot these are my top tips to staying on track around your treat meals:
• Avoid having heavy carbs such as bread, pasta ect with foods high in fats like cheese together (yes this means no pizza!) • keep heavy carbs with lean proteins and fats with veg + salads
• Drink a mint / green tea before bed
• ALCOHOL!!! Any alcohol slows down the fat burning process but if you like to drink wine or beer this should be done in moderation as it is high is sugars + calories. Sticking to drinks such as Gins and slim line tonics / Vodka + soda have a lot less.
• Don’t try and out train and bad diet. It won’t work!!!
