As a coffee roaster and enthusiast, and with family roots sunk deep along the gulf coast where Cajun influences have forged family tradition.... I've ALWAYS wanted to experience the legendary Cafe Du Monde and see New Orleans for myself.
And today I finally got to sip a cup of chicory coffee and sink my teeth into delicious beignets....it was as spectacular as I imagined!
Coffee can definitely bring people together, and I’m really stoked to have finally met Danny @nonowhatever a couple weeks back. This Kenyan Kainamui drop by @cuppingroomhk is pretty awesome, love the vibrancy of the red currants. One of two coffees this gentleman gave me when I popped into @cocobei_docklands Can’t wait for the next catch up. Thanks for the tasty brews brother! 🍒⚡️🙌🏽
Yuenyeung/Kopi Cham, aka coffee with milk tea, originates from Hong Kong. It's the mixture of 30% coffee and 70% milk tea with evaporated milk. The coffee aroma combines well with the full-bodied Sri Lankan (Ceylon) tea while the milk gives it a smooth silky texture. The drink is so popular among some eastern Asian regions, Starbucks in HK has a yuenyeung frappaccino. You can easily find it in the canteens and restaurants on Malaysia too.
It can be served hot or cold. We made a iced yuenyeung this time because we needed a chilled day! Would you want to try this drink?
I have quite a bit of new followers, so I thought I’d introduce myself!
My name is Chelsea and I’m addicted to coffee. Literally. If I don’t drink coffee, I get serious withdrawals. It’s a problem 😂
My fiancé and I have been together for 8 years and are getting married on our 10 year anniversary! We have 2 fur babies that we love to spoil.
We are both from Michigan- we went to high school together and moved to Colorado after Tyler accepted a job offer at a county sheriff’s office. He has been a patrol officer for almost 4 years!
I am currently in school to be a radiographer. I start my first semester of clinicals in January and I’m super excited!
I am addicted to Pinterest and love looking at home decor, everything wedding, and how to dress cute while also being cozy. I live for comfort.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and getting ready for Thanksgiving? Does anyone have any family traditions for the holidays? I’d love to hear some! We are trying to think of some to start doing every year 😊
