No filter is going to make this look pretty but it’s a thing of beauty. This is my comfort food cooked by my Polish Dad: bigos. Kraut and many different kinds of smoked pork, mushrooms, juniper, bay and wine and a 2 day cook. I needed comfort today, I always feel sentimental on my childen’s birthdays and would have loved to keep her home, play with her toys and tell her about her 71 hour labour and see her disgusted face. I feel awful about her first few days, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but have an incredible poker face so we were left more or less to our own devices until she was weighed and had dropped dramatically and had chronic colic which meant she screamed for weeks. I just remember the utter terror whilst people smiled and said ‘best time of your life’ and I nodded along. Here is to 7 years of figuring it out as you go along and realising that this incredible girl is strong and kind and happy and that’s what matters. Told you I was sentimental today.
Running a little late this morning so we’re having breakfast on the bus.
We’ve got smoked @tofooco with spinach, tomato and @morrisons wonky avocado.

eu nunca gostei de tofu, até experimentar ele mexido! o segredo do tofu é tempero, ele puro não tem sabor de nada. pra fazer ele assim eu coloco bastante tempero e deixo ele grelhar bastante na frigideira pra ficar bem sequinho 💚
