Too soon to mention the "C" word? (christmas!)
This week, I'm sharing my thoughts on 🎄 Buy Nothing Christmas 🎄 and encouraging folks to consider a non-consumer festive season.

(For some people, the idea of forgoing presents altogether may not be the preferred option. So, if it's material gifts you're after, why not choose an EarthSavvy gift that helps your friends and whānau tread a little lighter on this gorgeous planet of ours 🌏💚)
[2/3] Masih tentang @iloneskincare.
Items selanjutnya di travel set Ilone adalah cleansing balm. Buat aku, ini ENAK PARAH. Aku jadi suka bersihin muka sambil massage. Konsistensinya thick, tapi ngga lengket, baunya enak, dan self-emulsify. Jadi kalo setelahnya kita usap pakai tangan basah, dia berubah jadi susu/busa gitu. Mirip cleansing oil nya Pavettia.
Pertamanya aku happy banget karena di kuterima dalam kondisi jar yang terlihat penuh. Wah banyak nih, kupikir. Worth the price banget travel set nya… Eh ternyata nggak dong!

Day 5 of the #glsoupcleanse was probably my favorite as far as my soup choice. I decided to make this Moroccan inspired Sweet Potato and Black Lentil soup inspired by @littlespicejar . Although I did make a few modifications to her recipe such as no onions or garlic and I added plenty of ginger. Plus I omitted the nightshade veggies and added some grounding root veggies. Let me know if you try it! It was a hit for us.
Moroccan Sweet Potato Black Lentil Soup
1 cup black lentils soaked and rinsed
2 Small Japanese Sweet potatoes chopped (clearly I’m obsessed 😈)
1 white turnip chopped
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 medium-sized carrot peeled and chopped
3-inch piece fresh ginger grated
2 cups low sodium vegetable broth
5 cups purified water
2 tbsp unrefined virgin coconut oil
1 1/2 tsp curry powder (I used the Jamaican kind)
1 1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 1/2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp smoked or regular paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp smoked chili powder
1/4 tsp clover powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp sweet cinnamon
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
Sauté all of your spices except for the salt in your coconut oil for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add your fresh ginger and sauté for 30 seconds. Add your lentils and all of the vegetables and combine for 3-5 minutes with the oil and spices. Add your water and broth then cover and cook for 30 minutes or until all the vegetables are cooked. Add half the soup to your blender and let cool for 10 minutes. Blend and return it to the pot then serve with cilantro.
💖 Quick Love Guide from Spiritual Perspective💖
1. Love on first chakra (Muladhara) ❤️
Based on egoism and satisfaction of bodily needs. Mainly sexual relationships. People do it because of “needs”. People think sexual compatibility is the most important thing in relationships. Man and woman attracts instantly. The longer they are together, the more selfish they become. Most likely the couple will break up within 1-3 years.
📍Places of meeting: bars, night clubs, night outs.
❓Reasons of meeting: women feel lonely; both people want to just settle down; both people meet as a set up or through a dating service.
2. Love on second chakra (Swadhistana) 🧡
Based on buying someone and something, including love. “I want you so much, I will buy you”. Couple have a lot of material possessions and it is their main goal – to buy and possess as much as possible. The longer they are together, the more cynical they become. Most leisure time is active: at work, group meetings, camping, dancing, sports. They are happy as long as they are busy with something, doing something together. Most likely the couple will last for 6-7 years.
📍Places of meeting: at some activity event, gatherings, expensive resorts, etc.
❓Reasons of meeting: common interests; woman wants quiet simple life; woman looks for protection; man wants a simple woman that sees him as a protector.
Tomorrow I will tell you about next two chakras ☺️✨ #aboutlove
🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨: That desire (I mean that tug on your heart-dream-life kinda thing), it's actually not just a desire.
..it's something that's MEANT for you.
💛You are MEANT to be abundant, healthy, happy, thriving, limitless - you literally just have to let yourself have it. Seriously...this is your NATURAL STATE.
🙊Whoopsies, went and told you all the secrets already.
🔸What I mean to say is: I know I've done my job well, when you realise that you don't need me, and have learned to become more of yourself. You don't need someone to "change" you, or a "transformation". Just STOP being so damn MEAN to yourself.
🛑STOP telling yourself that you're "not good enough", that it's "unrealistic", that it's "too hard", that you have to "hustle" to get it, it's "just not meant for you", that "money is hard to come by", or the most messed up reason I've heard "it's in my genes to be this way". Fuck that, it ends now.
THESE ARE MADE UP STORIES
..and you get to choose your story my loves.
⚡The truth is, your BEST self is already there, hiding within you - you've just been ignoring her/him.
🔸You've stopped listening to what you truly desire, because you just don't think it's 'in the cards' or possible for you. Maybe instead, you've been listening to the shoulds ..."I should take this job bc it pays more, even if I don't love it", I "should go to the gym more, even though it's draining me", "I should take this career path because it looks better on my CV, even though I just want to do something creative", "I should fit into these jeans and look like a size 2 or nobody will love me or find me attractive."
🚫STOP SHOULDING ALL OVER YOURSELF.
I am here to tell you it's possible, that your heart isn't wrong.
💛In fact it's more than possible, it's MEANT for you.
My job is to help you to understand your own needs, to uncover those desires and MAKE THEM HAPPEN in the right way.
Stop putting your energy towards things/people/jobs/stuff that doesn't make your heart explode. 💗Just stop.
👩🔧I literally will deconstruct your life and lay it in front of you, call you out on your bullshit and teach you how to love the shit out of yourself (Cont. in the comments 💛)
We live in a day and age where many of us operate according to the rationale that the "ends justify the means". In many ways and in so many different dimensions of life, shortcuts or "hacks" are highly sought after and utilized to bring us what we want that much faster. Yet, when we pursue our lives and our experiences in such a manner, we pay a hefty price that we may not even realize.
Through the truth of our own experience, we can surely testify to the fact that whatever may be easily obtained and/or easily kept, quickly loses its value and only serves to fuel the illusion of satisfaction by way of "more", itself a rabbit hole of unquenchable hunger. That which we seek to have or keep without effort does not allow us to experience the depth of gratitude necessary to truly value and appreciate it. We essentially sabotage our own satisfaction by means of the means in which we have approached it.
Aside from the burning one experiences as a result of unmet desires, taking the "easy way out" and not doing what needs to be done in order to earn the experiences that we have also robs of all that we can learn and all that we can become along the journey, which often has infinitely more value than that which we might a achieve by crossing the finish line.
In cheating the process, we only end up cheating ourselves.
