I understand why top tier theaters are now dropping the @gosnell_movie out of their lineup, even though it has been performing in the top 10. It exceeded expectations. With a current IMDB Rating: 8.3/10 out of 838 votes, it is the ultimate true-life halloween movie. It is probably scarier than all of the other halloween movies to come out right now because it's a true story. The mainstream media and political establishments tried to cover it up during his long trial between 2011-2013 and today I see parallels: scorching the truth with the real case back then, they are now doing the same to belittle the success of the movie that was made from it. Seeing this news made me think of the blog post (link in my bio) I shared nearly a year ago. This is a tough topic but I feel deep in my heart that with the transparency of the current social and scientific climate regarding the realities of abortion, women who had one are in a unique place to share their testimony with others that are currently in the position they were once in. I also hope men will read this as they have part responsibility to PROTECT our hearts and STOP putting the women in their life who they are not married to in such vulnerable positions to begin with. I know this sounds weird but for as long as I have known about abortion I have always put myself in the womb of those that never made it to birth. That is why this topic has always resonated with me--it could have been me, it could have been you.
