2018.10.27 The Wave. Third time was the charm to get these permits. I remember I was laying down to take a nap and checked my email quick. As I read the congratulations line, I shot up with excitement and disbelief. The day before I had done my debt free scream and I still feel these permits were an extra little gift from God. Like here ya go My child, good job ❤️
The West Wing
Taken this past September on my latest visit to the Wave. This narrow corridor on the west side of the Wave has some of the most interesting striations in the entire area. It also gets a nice reflected glow early in the morning.
🇺🇸 Have you ever made it to Antelope Canyon? I never have and I am kind of scared of the crowds. The Wave Slot Canyon was a sweet one too, much shorter but much quieter. Hope you have a great weekend.⠀
🇫🇷 êtes-vous déjà allé à Antelope Canyon? Je n’y suis jamais allée mais j’ai un peu peur de la foule. Le slot Canyon de The Wave est petit mais magnifique. Passez un excellent week-end.
The Wave to Arizona is like the bagel to New York. It's that iconic. Thousands of travel seekers go to the wave every year to get a beautiful shot of the terrain that has been carved by winds for hundreds of years. 📸 @travellingteaching
The Wave was easily one of the coolest hikes I’ve ever been in. I got super lucky winning the Permit Lottery the day before. They only allow 20 people a day to see this beautiful place. This is pretty much the first thing you see entering The Wave. I have hundreds of photos from this hike so stay tuned for more. #thewave#coyotebuttes#averagesportage
One of the most beautiful and amazing places I have ever had the pleasure of exploring. They only allow 20 people in per day to preserve this natural wonder. Visit if you can, and good luck with the lottery 🌊
🇺🇸 The window of Melody Arch and the Grotto. I did not have the opportunity to go back to Arches since 2010 so it was a sweet substitute 😁
🇫🇷 La fenetre de Melody Arch et The Grotto. Je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de retourner à Arches depuis 2010 alors c’était un bon substitut. 😁
Near the border of Arizona and Utah is an experience that cannot be missed! With the Wave permits nearly impossible to obtain, we successfully scored one for the equally as beautiful South Coyote Buttes next door. The whole place is like a funhouse!
It’s been almost a year since my where’s Waldo/Wally and fairy crew adventured with me to the #coyotebuttes#waverockarizona and we got a rare lunch the other day for a much needed laugh @rainbow_chaser77
